The team has captured three consecutive CHA regular season titles as well as winning the CHA championship the past two seasons. The Moose has qualified in each of his first three seasons (2009,2010,2011). Craig was named Head Coach of the CHA All Star in each of his first three seasons with the team. He was also named Coach of the Year in 2008-2009. Craig began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Christ the King High School where he worked from 2000 to 2007. He then joined the Moose as an assistant coach before taking over in 2008 as Head Coach. Craig has also operated and coached the New York City Selects hockey club since 2006. Coach Doremus was an assistant coach with the New York City Empire State team from 2003-2006 serving under current Connecticut Whale coach Pat Boller. Craig's background in hockey also extends to his experience working as a volunteer for the NHL in 2000 for the NHL Breakout Program. Craig interned for the New York Rangers in 2003 before joining the organization full time in 2004. He worked in the marketing department while helping develop the youth hockey program. Craig graduated from St. John’s University in June 2004 with a bacehlor’s degree in Sports Management. Craig, his wife Andrea and their son Griffin reside in Middle Village, New York.
Jamie Cahill- Scout/Coach, Hockey Essentials  Jamie Cahill will be entering his 5th season coaching with the Long
Island Gulls AAA youth hockey program. This upcoming season he will be coaching the Long Island Gulls Bantam Major '97 program, the same team he coached last season. Prior to coaching at the '97 age level, Jamie was the head coach of the Gulls Midget American and National programs. He led his team to an AYHL Finals appearance a few seasons ago. Prior to coaching the Gulls, Jamie coached at the Apple Core Youth Organization, winning the championship of the NEEHL. As a player, Jamie played his junior hockey with the Ramapo Rangers, before heading to Division 1 Fairfield University where his playing career was cut short by injury. Bob Mitchell-Coach
 Bob Mitchell is a Level 5 Master USA Hockey Certified Coach in 2006, and is currently the Coaching Director and ACE Coordinator at the Bridgewater Bears Youth Hockey Organization. Coach Mitchell has been coaching youth hockey for the past 17 years with various organizations at the Tier I and Tier II levels. He is instrumental in his teaching Hockey to the youth in New Jersey. Fun atmosphere and hard work is his motto in working with any level from Mites to Midgets Learn to play up into the AAA Levels. Coach Mitchell coached the Hockey Essentials Jr. Chowder Cup Team 2008 and 2009.
